Share Knowledge . Learn Skills . Create Friendships

Welcome to Shedquarters

Shedquarters is a Men’s Shed located near Sonning Common in South Oxfordshire.

Our mission is to reduce loneliness and isolation as experienced by older people. We bring together men and women to share knowledge, learn new skills and to make new friends.

We can be found in our Shed in the carpark alongside Peppard War Memorial Hall in Gallowstree Road, Peppard Common, RG9 5JA.

Come along, meet like minded people, have a chat and see what we are doing – it’s great fun!

Opening TImes

Monday 10:00 – 12:30
Tuesday 10:00 – 12:30
Wednesday – currently closed
Friday 10:00 – 12:30
Saturday 9:30 – 13:00

Please Note the shed is closed on Bank Holidays

Our Shed is a welcoming place for people aged 18 and over who have an interest in all manner of things including woodworking, metalworking, electronics, doing puzzles, playing dominoes or simply chatting and drinking tea.

We have a range of woodworking and metalworking tools and machinery available for members to use, along with other equipment. The Shed is also used for a variety of creative art and craft activities. We offer training in the safe use of hand and powered tools for beginners, and we are full of ideas about things to make, whatever your skill level or experience.

Members can work on their own projects, take part in Shed projects, and from time to time we also undertake projects that support the local community.

The Shed is now ready for operation. We will not say finished, as that will probably never happen. We are currently open four mornings per week and continually review our opening days as membership grows. See our Contact page for details.

If you want to know more about Men’s Sheds and how they help men’s health and wellbeing, visit the UK Men’s Sheds Association website. Alternatively just come along and discover what we are up to. If you like what you see you can join us – view our Membership page for more information.
