For Sale – Things we make
At Shedquarters, our members make a selection of items for sale, in exchange for a donation to our funds. These donations help us keep the Shed running and also allow us to improve the facilities offered to our members.
If you are interested in purchasing any of the items below, please contact us by email to info@shedquarters.org.uk or just drop into the Shed any time we are open. All purchases can be collected from our Shed in Peppard Common, or may be available for local delivery, by arrangement. See our Contact page for information about where we are located.
Here are examples of the things we have been making recently:
Welly Store – “MUD HQ”
Our MUD HQ is made to order from treated timber with sufficient space for all your family’s outdoor muddy footwear, especially as Autumn is here and Winter is on its way.
The MUD HQ measures (approx.) 120cm long, 50cm deep and 57cm high. Available for a suggested donation of £165.00 with a natural timber look. Add a splash of colour to the side and front panels for an additional £5.00.
pens
Hand turned in our Shed and fitted with a quality ballpoint mechanism, you will feel proud to own such a beautiful pen.
They are available for a donation of £18.00 each, in a range of different materials including wood and acrylic – each one being unique and made specially for you. They come in a presentation box too!

Bird Boxes
We are making bird boxes for Eco SoCo, the local ecology group in Sonning Common. By working together with other voluntary organisations we hope to make Sonning Common a nicer place to live.
Made by our members from plywood offcuts as a kit of parts, the boxes were assembled by local children during the Village Day on 22 June 2025. This box is sized for the local Blue Tits – we hope they move in soon!
If you would like to help make bird boxes, please come along to the shed – we have more to make for next year, so we would love a hand.
If you would like a bird box for your own garden, the suggested donation is £12.00 per box.
Jewellery hangers
These simple and elegant triangles, made from polished wood, are ideal for storing all your chains, pendants, rings, earrings and other assorted jewellery items.
They are available from £25.00 – an ideal Christmas or birthday present.
Bug Hotels
We haven’t forgotten the bugs and the bees either. Just fill up one of our “hotels” with suitable material and hang it in a shady place in your garden to help all kinds of bugs survive our British Winter weather!
Eco SoCo gave these away at the Village Day on 22 June 2025 too.
If you want your own bug hotel, they are available for a suggested donation of £8.00 each for you to fill yourself, or £10.00 ready filled with tubes.
Planters
Just in time for Spring, we have started to make planters for your garden or for our garden at the Shed. They are easy to make – no previous woodworking skills required.
Come along and help out – we need to make these to sell at the local Village Days too.
If you want your own planter, they are available for a donation too.
Walking Sticks
One of our members makes bespoke walking sticks.
